My Top Five Comments from Re-Search Readers in 2009

Web 2.0 and blogging is about interaction between a website owner and its users / readership.

I have been extremely pleased that so many readers have felt welcome enough to post comments on here; even disagreeing with me at times [despite my elevation this year to being an "authority on search in the UK!"] Those that know me well, know that I firmly believe in a good argument [or did I mean debate?]

Nothing will change or move forward without conflict; how we manage the process is all that matters.

So I have decided to list my favourite comments from 2009.

5. Daryl Toogood’s list of suggested SAR books [complete with links to Amazon :-( ]

4. Johnnie Walker’s take on SAR Hovercraft

3. Simon Rose’s comment on Staffs SAR winning £50,000

and I can’t choose between the two top comments of 2009 so

Jt 1st. Chris Curry’s detailed comment on the Missing Persons Taskforce

and Chris Squire’s [WHO?] comment on the Search for Dr David Kelly [the best laugh I've had in ages.]

One final mention in dispatches for Jamie Reading who did so well with the Dartmoor Exercise!

Do you have a favourite comment of 2009? Let everyone know!

I agree Rob, Chris’ comment was awesome! His reply had nothing to do with your orginal post AT all..! I thought your post was just a very positive take on the SAR intervention, nothing else..? Chris’ ranting that all medical doctors are ‘experts’ in causes of death was also very niaive-my husband and many of our friends are medical doctors, but none would claim they are specialists and ‘experts’ in causes of death..! Oh I could go onand on, but got to dash out. However I think we’d agree the icing on Chris’ cake was the “I have no idea who you are by the way…” Classic! I’m sure that amused Mr Walker! Happy Christmas Rob, thanks for all you do for us..! Beth x
