To not for one moment take anything away from us 'Local Heroes' out on the ground, I am sure we all want to thank Rob for his enormous efforts on behalf of Search and Rescue. There will not be a person reading these blogs who is not a better searcher, or leader of searchers, thanks to Rob's efforts. To put in so much work, without the reward of the massive buzz that the hunt gives us all, is something I know I could not do. You are a star Rob. Thank you.

Merry Krismas Rob, and thanks for the blog in 2009.

Have a good break and we expect you back and blogging again once the mince pies are cold (or eaten)
